• A good command of spoken and written English.
• The ability to counsel in Chinese is a strong plus for this position.

• Work well in a community of diverse nationalities.
Job Description:
• Counselling skills:
o Provide individual counseling to students on academic, social-emotional, and personal concerns.
o Lead small group counseling sessions on topics like bullying prevention, study skills, and friendship building.
• Collaboration and Program Development:
o Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to understand student needs and develop interventions.
o Design and implement a comprehensive school counseling program that aligns with academic and social-emotional learning goals.
• Data and Assessment:
o Use data to identify students at risk and develop targeted support plans.
o Administer and interpret assessments to inform academic planning and identify learning needs.
• School Community:
o Collaborate with school staff to promote a positive school climate.
o Conduct classroom presentations on social-emotional learning topics.
o Attend school events and activities to build relationships with students.
• Professional Development:
o Stay up-to-date on best practices in school counseling through professional development activities.
o Maintain professional licensure and certifications.
