Overall Responsibilities:
• Manage the library space, ensuring its effective use by students, teachers, and staff.
• Develop and curate a collection of print and digital resources that meet the needs of the curriculum and students' interests.
• Instruct students in information literacy skills, including research techniques and critical thinking.
• Foster a love of reading by promoting books and creating a welcoming and engaging library environment.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
• Manage the library budget to acquire new materials and maintain technology.
• Oversee the circulation and return of library materials.
• May also be responsible for storytelling sessions, book clubs, and other library programs.
• Developing and implementing library policies.
• Maintaining library technology and databases.
