In our Early Years department, we cater for students from 2-6 years old. Our cohort is mostly Thai or Chinese so we have an extensive population of students for whom English is a second, sometimes a 3rd, language. However, as students are exposed to English from a very young age, they excel in mastering the language before entering Primary school. We follow our own unique Early Years curriculum that is designed to be holistic, student-centered and inquiry-based but also keep a certain academic rigor to ensure our students are ready for the Primary Singapore Curriculum.
We are currently looking for experienced Nursery and Kindergarten teachers to work with our youngest learners of 2 years old and above. We seek to find an enthusiastic and caring educator who's confident in communicating with parents and answering questions. We are looking for an educator who is familiar with centered-based learning, eager to do sensory and messy play and has some knowledge of how to run an inquiry-based class. We require a minimum of 2 years experience in a nursery-kindergarten setting (international experience preferred) and 3 references from current and previous employers.
Qualifications:
• Hold a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent teaching certification
• Bachelor's degree in Early childhood Education ( qualified to teach 0-6 years old)
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a school setting (international school preferred)
• Aim for high-quality education and learning
• Strive for collaboration and being a team player
• Have a keen desire to teach and learn in an international school in Thailand
• Stay up-to-date with Ed-Tech and skills and industry-related trends to conduct engaging lessons and activities
